Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Cohalume Technologies Limited (“Cohalume,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses this Cookie Policy to explain how cookies and similar technologies are used on the Cohalume corporate website.
This Cookie Policy applies to cohalume.com. Individual products operated by Cohalume may have their own cookie or privacy notices where appropriate.
At the time of this policy, the Cohalume corporate website uses a limited technical setup and does not use advertising, analytics or behavioral tracking cookies for ordinary anonymous visitors.
1. About This Cookie Policy
Cookies are small pieces of data that websites may store in a visitor’s browser for purposes such as authentication, preferences, security, analytics or other website functions.
Similar technologies may include browser storage, local databases, device identifiers or other mechanisms that retain information on a user’s device.
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies currently associated with the Cohalume corporate website.
2. Current Cookie Use
At the time of this policy, ordinary anonymous visits to the Cohalume corporate website do not create any cookies that we have identified through our current website implementation and testing.
In particular, we have not identified anonymous visitor cookies used for:
- analytics;
- advertising;
- remarketing;
- behavioral profiling;
- social-media tracking;
- heatmaps;
- session recording; or
- personalization.
The website may use cookies in limited administrative or authenticated contexts, as described below.
3. Cookies for Anonymous Visitors
For ordinary anonymous visitors, the current website does not intentionally set first-party or third-party cookies.
During testing of the current corporate website, we did not observe:
- first-party visitor cookies;
- third-party cookies;
- cookie-based analytics;
- advertising cookies;
- social tracking cookies; or
- cookie-based consent preferences.
This may change if new website features or third-party services are introduced in the future.
4. Administrator and Authenticated-User Cookies
The website is built using WordPress. WordPress may set strictly necessary cookies when authorized administrators or other authenticated users access the administrative area or log in to the website.
These cookies may include cookies used to:
- test whether the browser supports cookies;
- authenticate a logged-in user;
- maintain an authenticated session;
- remember administrative interface preferences; and
- store certain WordPress user-interface settings.
Examples may include cookies with names such as:
wordpress_test_cookie
Used to test whether the browser supports cookies.
wordpress_[hash] / wordpress_sec_[hash]
Used for WordPress authentication and security.
wordpress_logged_in_[hash]
Used to maintain the logged-in state.
wp-settings-[user ID] and wp-settings-time-[user ID]
Used to store WordPress administrative interface preferences.
These cookies are associated with administrative or authenticated use and are not part of the ordinary anonymous browsing experience.
5. Analytics, Advertising and Tracking
At the time of this policy, the Cohalume corporate website does not use third-party analytics or advertising technologies identified in our current website implementation.
We have not identified active use of services such as:
- Google Analytics;
- Google Tag Manager;
- Meta Pixel;
- Microsoft Clarity;
- advertising or remarketing pixels;
- behavioral analytics;
- session-recording tools; or
- heatmap services.
We also do not currently use social-media tracking widgets on the corporate website.
If we introduce analytics, advertising or other tracking technologies in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and any related privacy or consent mechanisms as appropriate.
6. Similar Technologies and Browser Storage
The current corporate website does not intentionally use persistent browser-storage technologies for ordinary anonymous visitors.
During testing, we did not identify visitor information stored through:
- localStorage;
- sessionStorage;
- IndexedDB;
- Cache Storage;
- service workers; or
- other identifier-bearing browser storage.
The website may use ordinary browser functionality required to load and display website content, but we do not currently use these storage mechanisms to track anonymous visitors.
7. Server-Side Logs and Security Records
Cookies are not the only way a website may process technical information.
The Cohalume website and its hosting or security systems may process certain technical information at the server level when a visitor accesses the website.
This may include information such as:
- IP address;
- requested page or URL;
- date and time of the request;
- HTTP response information;
- browser or device-related request information; and
- security or traffic classification information.
The current WordPress installation uses security-related functionality that may record qualifying website visits for security, operational and diagnostic purposes.
These server-side records are not browser cookies and do not require a cookie to be created on the visitor’s device.
For more information about how Cohalume handles personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
8. Managing Cookies
Most browsers allow users to view, delete, block or restrict cookies through their browser settings.
Because the current Cohalume corporate website does not intentionally set cookies for ordinary anonymous visitors, disabling cookies should generally not affect ordinary public browsing of the website.
However, blocking cookies may prevent WordPress administrative login or other authenticated functionality from working correctly.
Browser controls vary by browser and device. Please refer to your browser’s settings or documentation for information about managing cookies.
9. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our website, technologies, services, legal requirements or business practices.
If the website later introduces analytics, advertising, embedded third-party content, authentication features or other technologies that use cookies or similar storage, we may revise this policy accordingly.
When we update this Cookie Policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
We encourage visitors to review this Cookie Policy periodically.
